Jacoby Arts Center presents the juried exhibit, “Art is…wearable” on view in the OFS Saint Anthony Gallery September 4-29, 2019. Fashion is a language that tells a story about the person who wears it and it is a means of self-expression. Jacoby Arts Center wants to being a dialogue about art that is wearable. Namely, fashion. “Art is… wearable” is an all fabric exhibition that seeks to reveal to the community the artists’ state of mind through the art of fashion. Even more, we are asking artists to tell us their story and allow us to see their self-expression through fashion. Featuring works by Lynn Carter, Naomi Elson, Diane Isbell, Sandy Jenkin, Sally Kirbach, Stacy Lovejoy, Hayla Ragland, Susan Sontag.
