Call for Entries: Weavers’ Guild of St. Louis presents "re: Surfaced." This juried exhibition is open to members of the Weavers’ Guild of St. Louis as well as guest artists by invitation of exhibit Juror Leandra Spangler. The exhibit title, “re: Surfaced," refers to our focus on surface design and surface treatments/alterations. This broad theme relates to the surface elements within all fiber techniques whether the physical textures of various fibers, weave structures, felting, papermaking and surface embellishments or the visual textures of dye applications or eco-printing. All fiber techniques are welcome. Works can be displayed on walls, dress forms, pedestals and hung from the ceiling. Juried by jpegs with accompanying entry form required, sent by email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Limit 3 artworks; full view image required & 1 detail view image (optional). 25% commission on sales.
